Liquid Dive is a boutique PADI 5* CDC dive resort based in Dauin.

Only a 20 minute drive from Dumaguete City, the resort is located down a 1K winding – slightly bumpy – access road which leads to a quiet, remote rocky beach, facing towards Siquijor Island and with a view of Apo Island. The backdrop of Liquid is the spectacular Mt. Talinis.

The Philippines is one of the best places to dive, whether you are a certified diver looking for great fun dives, a beginner wishing to learn to dive or a certified diver wanting to go professional. Liquid has it all!

As a small boutique resort with only 14 beach cottages Liquid guarantees comfort in a secluded setting away from the crowds of larger resorts.

Our fan rooms are native inspired basic rooms with private bathroom and sea facing balconies, perfect for couples or single travellers looking for comfort that does not break the bank.

Our deluxe air con rooms are larger with a more modern design. These rooms have private bathroom with hot water shower, ceiling fan, adjustable split air conditioning, cable TV, mini bar and sea facing balcony, perfect for travellers who want a little extra comfort for an affordable price.

Our resort facilities can compete with any larger resort without the need to fight for space. Our training pool is the center of the resort surrounded by our PADI 5* CDC dive center, pool side bar, restaurant and games area with pool table & dart board. There is plenty of seating available both shaded and in the sun.

The Lodge houses our reception, dive center office, personal equipment room and upstairs is a large chill out area where you can relax and take in the views of the neighboring islands while enjoying a freshly pressed espresso drink and homemade cake from our coffee shop.  Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the whole resort.

Come for the dive. Come back for the people.

Tim & Zoe

family-1Tim and Zoe first came to the Philippines in 2003. They have been living in Dauin since 2011. They have two young children, Solymar and Kai who both spend the majority of their time jumping in and out of the swimming pool!

Tim first learned to dive when he was 16 on a school trip to the Bahamas. Since then he has tried his hand at carpentry, social work, managing coffee shops, being a bank manager and generally spending time travelling and trying to figure it all out. Finally he decided to stick with the thing he fell in love with at 16. In 2002 he settled in Utila, Honduras and became a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. Making good use of his new cool job to pick up girls, he promptly met Zoe who he married a year later!! He also reads comic books so most of his cool cred went out the window with that one. Tim is now one of our in house PADI Course Directors training our IDC candidates through Instructor Development Philippines.

Zoe first learned to dive in Australia when she was 18 and at the time hated it!! The following years were spent working on private boats, in ski resorts, managing backpacker hostels, working as a chef and just traveling as much as possible, until finally at a family gathering someone asked the dreaded question ‘so what are you doing with your life?” Her first response was “uhhh… dunno?” followed by “I’m going to be a diving instructor and live on the beach”, which is exactly what she did and has been doing ever since! She also knows how to talk…a lot.

Their goal since first becoming diving instructors was to one day open their own PADI dive resort. Finally after many years in the industry gaining experience and knowledge! That dream has become a reality. As avid travellers their aim was to open the kind of facility that they sought out themselves. Offering all modern facilities, great meals, internet, and swimming pool and of course a top class PADI dive center.

A word of advice, if you get him talking about tech he will never stop!
